Get a quoteWhy Adelaide contractors buy scaffolding from Epic.
Three reasons head contractors and site managers re-book Epic, put through the value equation: a bigger outcome, more proof it will land, faster turnaround, and less work on your end.
What we quote, when we said, exactly as promised.
Every Epic job is priced fixed, scheduled fixed, and delivered fixed. Reuben owns the job so the person who quoted is the person accountable for the install. When the concrete pour, deck lift or PC date is fixed, the scaffold moves around it. No change orders you didn’t approve. No surprise costs at handover.
48 to 72 hours from call to standing.
Reuben scopes in person within 24 hours of your enquiry. Certified engineering drawings back inside 48. Scaffold up 48 to 72 hours after that. Mid-job re-configures actioned the same week, not next month. When your programme shifts, ours shifts with it, so a scaffold call never becomes a scaffold delay.
Every credential head contractors screen for, delivered on the jobs that prove it.

How Adelaide scaffolding pricing works.
Every job is priced after a site inspection. No online calculators, no hidden extras. Here’s how we get to a fixed number.
How we quote
Site visit within 48 hours of your enquiry. We measure the actual scope, walk the access, and issue a fixed written quote, not an estimate. What we quote is what you pay.
Fixed price. No surprises. What drives the price
Height and load rating. Duration on site. Access complexity (heritage, over-water, restricted street frontage). Whether engineered drawings are needed. Number of moves during the project.
Priced per project, not per hour.Every project sized on its merits
Most Epic jobs run over two weeks because setup and dismantle costs make ultra-short hires uneconomic for both sides. That said, if you have a smaller-window job and the timing suits our crew rotation, we can sometimes flex. Best to ask us and we’ll tell you honestly.
Case by case. Just ask. From enquiry to install in four steps.
Every Adelaide job runs on the same protocol, so you know exactly what happens after you hit send.
Enquiry received
You submit the form or call. Epic operations logs your job the same business day and books a site visit.

Straight answers on cost, timing, coverage and compliance.
What is the difference between a material hoist and a man-material hoist?
A material hoist carries goods only, such as bricks, plaster, tools and timber. A man-material hoist is engineered and certified to carry both crew and materials, so workers can travel between levels alongside their gear.
Epic supplies and operates both. Which one you need comes down to project height, crew size and how often people need to move between floors.
Does Epic supply hoists for Adelaide construction sites?
Yes. Epic supplies and operates material hoists (goods only) and man-material hoists (crew and goods) for commercial and residential construction across Adelaide. Configurations are engineered to project height, load capacity and duration, with certified installation and operator crews.
What is the difference between swing stages and mast climbers?
Swing stages (suspended access platforms) hang from overhead outriggers and traverse vertically along a facade. Ideal for painting, maintenance and short-duration work at height.
Mast climbers ride vertical masts fixed to the structure and carry heavier loads and larger crews. Better suited to sustained construction work. Epic supplies and operates both.
When should I use a swing stage instead of scaffolding?
Swing stages are preferred when a facade is too tall for economic scaffolding, when access is required only for a short phase, or when the ground level cannot be encumbered. They install faster than tube-and-fitting scaffold and reduce material on site.
What safety certifications are needed for swing stage operation?
For most site users, a safety induction with Epic’s installers on the day covers safe operation of the swing stage. Formal High Risk Work Licence classifications apply to the installers and operators who erect and dismantle the platform. Suspended platforms are engineered and inspected before every shift.
Can Epic supply swing stages for high-rise buildings?
Yes. Swing stages are configured to project height, facade profile, load and duration. Epic can turn around a scoped approximation and initial rigging concept within 48 hours of enquiry; full certified engineering drawings follow once scope is confirmed.
Does Epic supply the operator or is it dry hire?
For swing stages Epic can quote dry hire (equipment only, to your certified installers) or operated hire (Tier 1 scaffolders and riggers included). For hoists, Epic typically supplies both the equipment and a trained operator crew, since most commercial sites prefer a fully-operated hoist package.
