Are all Epic scaffolders SA licensed?
Every Epic scaffolder either holds a current Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence (Basic, Intermediate or Advanced) issued by SafeWork SA, or is a trainee working under the direct supervision of a licensed scaffolder as part of Epic’s structured on-the-job training. Under South Australia’s all-industry labour hire licensing (in force from July 2026), Epic is registered as a compliant labour-hire provider.
What is the difference between labour hire and full scaffolding hire?
Labour hire provides certified scaffolders and riggers to work alongside your team, using either your equipment or ours. Full scaffolding hire covers everything: design, engineering, materials, install, maintenance and dismantle. Many head contractors mix both depending on project phase.
How quickly can Epic provide extra scaffolders on a job?
For a planned resource top-up, 48 to 72 hours notice is enough to allocate crews. For urgent site coverage (illness, project acceleration, weather catch-up) we can often mobilise within a business day, subject to current workload.
Does Epic hire and train people re-entering the workforce?
Yes. Epic’s training program takes people from their first day on site and supports them through to becoming experienced delivery supervisors. This includes a specific pathway for candidates re-entering the workforce.
Does Epic employ Aboriginal workers?

What happens if a scaffolder doesn’t turn up?
Epic operates a 0% no-show record on labour hire. If a scheduled crew member is unavailable (illness, emergency) our operations team allocates a replacement to your site so the crew count you booked is the crew count you get. This is one of the core reasons head contractors keep coming back.
