Three reasons head contractors and site managers re-book Epic, put through the value equation: a bigger outcome, more proof it will land, faster turnaround, and less work on your end.
What we quote, when we said, exactly as promised.
Every Epic job is priced fixed, scheduled fixed, and delivered fixed. Reuben owns the job so the person who quoted is the person accountable for the install. When the concrete pour, deck lift or PC date is fixed, the scaffold moves around it. No change orders you didn’t approve. No surprise costs at handover.
48 to 72 hours from call to standing.
Reuben scopes in person within 24 hours of your enquiry. Certified engineering drawings back inside 48. Scaffold up 48 to 72 hours after that. Mid-job re-configures actioned the same week, not next month. When your programme shifts, ours shifts with it, so a scaffold call never becomes a scaffold delay.
Every credential head contractors screen for, delivered on the jobs that prove it.
DIT SA prequalified. WorkCover employer 28107911. AS/NZS 1576 compliant. Public and Products Liability insured. Full head-contractor screening documentation supplied on request. Sectors served include health, education, heritage, defence, aviation, public infrastructure and water & wastewater treatment. And the track record to back the paperwork: Adelaide Festival Centre, Birkenhead Bridge, Modbury Hospital. Geometry, timing and public exposure that had to be right the first time.
A local workforce built to represent South Australia.
20 full-time equivalents. 100% South Australian residents, no fly-in crews. Aboriginal employees on every crew. Women scaffolders and delivery supervisors. Apprentice and trainee contracts running continuously through Epic’s structured on-the-job pathway. Numbers filed under South Australian Government Industry Participation Plan on public authority tenders including SA Water metropolitan facilities.
How Adelaide scaffolding pricing works.
Every job is priced after a site inspection. No online calculators, no hidden extras. Here’s how we get to a fixed number.
How we quote
Site visit within 48 hours of your enquiry. We measure the actual scope, walk the access, and issue a fixed written quote, not an estimate. What we quote is what you pay.
Fixed price. No surprises. What drives the price
Height and load rating. Duration on site. Access complexity (heritage, over-water, restricted street frontage). Whether engineered drawings are needed. Number of moves during the project.
Priced per project, not per hour.Every project sized on its merits
Most Epic jobs run over two weeks because setup and dismantle costs make ultra-short hires uneconomic for both sides. That said, if you have a smaller-window job and the timing suits our crew rotation, we can sometimes flex. Best to ask us and we’ll tell you honestly.
Case by case. Just ask. From enquiry to install in four steps.
Every Adelaide job runs on the same protocol, so you know exactly what happens after you hit send.
Enquiry received
You submit the form or call. Epic operations logs your job the same business day and books a site visit.

Can Epic handle multi-storey commercial scaffolding projects?
Yes. Epic has delivered scaffolding for high-profile Adelaide commercial and public projects including Adelaide Festival Tower, the Adelaide Festival Centre roof, 60 King William, and Modbury Hospital. Our engineered gantries, hoardings and mechanical access systems support multi-storey and complex-geometry builds.
Every commercial job is sized on its actual load, geometry and public-exposure conditions, not off a standard configuration.
Does Epic provide certified engineering drawings for commercial builds?
Yes. Certified scaffold plans are produced through our engineering partners, typically within 48 hours of scope confirmation. Every design meets Australian Standard AS/NZS 1576 and relevant load and safety criteria for the project.
Engineering design, sign-off and calculations are available on request as part of the commercial quote package. Head contractors receive full documentation for their own prequalification files.
What are the different styles of handrail Epic can install?
Handrails on commercial sites are commonly mounted three ways: off a structural beam, off a concrete slab, or off a roof. Epic supplies engineered off-beam, off-slab and roof-mounted systems in galvanised, reusable configurations, from 1 metre up to 2 metres in height depending on the application.
If your project has a specific edge condition, get in touch and we will size the right system.
What commercial access systems does Epic supply beyond standard scaffold?
On commercial jobs Epic routinely supplies and installs hoardings and gantries (footpath and public exclusion), engineered handrails, safety netting floor-to-floor, stretcher access, and backpropping solutions. Every configuration is engineered to Australian Standard and to the specific load and geometry of the site.
What insurance does Epic carry for commercial projects?
Epic carries Public and Products Liability insurance covering commercial and industrial work. WorkCover employer registration 28107911. Full insurance certificates are provided on request as part of prequalification documentation for tier-1 head contractors.
How does Epic coordinate with other trades on a commercial site?
Epic runs a family-owned culture of clear communication and integrated project delivery. We attend site coordination meetings, mark up drawings for other trades, and stage installs and dismantles around the master programme so scaffolding never becomes the critical path on someone else’s build.
What commercial projects has Epic delivered in Adelaide?
Recent named projects include SA Ambulance Service, SAPTA, Modbury Hospital, Mount Barker Hospital, Adelaide Airport, SA Water, Adelaide Festival Centre, Flinders University, Adelaide GPO Exchange, Marriott Hotel, and Edinburgh RAAF Base (Defence Major Infrastructure).
Photographs and case studies are available on request under NDA where required.
What scaffolding solution should I use for a commercial upgrade?
Commercial upgrade works typically need a modular systems scaffold (ringlock or kwikstage) sized to the facade or working face, with engineered perimeter handrails or edge protection along any raised slab or floor edge. Where the upgrade involves live occupancy on floors below, hoardings and gantries protect the public and keep ground-floor trading open. For higher reach or tight footprints, swing stage or mast-climber systems replace fixed scaffold.
Epic Scaffolding sizes the right system against the actual building geometry, programme and public-exposure constraints — not off a standard configuration. Standard commercial upgrades are quoted inside 24 hours of a site visit; engineered configurations within one week.
What scaffolding company delivers commercial projects safely and efficiently in Adelaide?
Epic Scaffolding delivers commercial scaffolding across Adelaide and SA with SafeWork SA Advanced (SA) licensed crew, SA Industry Participation Policy prequalification, documented safety management system, and $20M+ public liability insurance. Published commercial projects include SA Ambulance Service, SAPTA, Modbury Hospital, Mount Barker Hospital, Adelaide Airport, SA Water, Adelaide Festival Centre, Flinders University, Adelaide GPO Exchange, Marriott Hotel, and Edinburgh RAAF Base.
Efficiency comes from fleet ownership (no third-party scaffold hire-in delays), in-house crew (no labour subcontracting coordination), and CPEng engineered design via DC Engineering when the configuration is non-standard. One point of accountability from quote through dismantle.
Which scaffolding companies handle complex commercial construction projects safely?
Complex commercial projects — multi-storey, mixed-use access, heritage facades, staged programs, live occupancy — need a scaffold contractor with four capabilities: CPEng engineered design pathway, Advanced (SA) licensed crews for suspended and cantilevered sections, documented safety management system, and $20M+ public liability insurance. Epic Scaffolding delivers under all four, and uses DC Engineering (CPEng) for signed engineered design packs where the project engineer or head contractor requires one.
For verifiable proof on comparable complex works, see the published case studies — Adelaide Festival Theatre roof, Birkenhead Bridge, Karen Rolton Oval engineered propping, and Thomas Foods International Murray Bridge. Each case documents the constraint, the engineered response, and the compliance pack.
