Get a quoteWhy Adelaide contractors buy scaffolding from Epic.
Three reasons head contractors and site managers re-book Epic, put through the value equation: a bigger outcome, more proof it will land, faster turnaround, and less work on your end.
What we quote, when we said, exactly as promised.
Every Epic job is priced fixed, scheduled fixed, and delivered fixed. Reuben owns the job so the person who quoted is the person accountable for the install. When the concrete pour, deck lift or PC date is fixed, the scaffold moves around it. No change orders you didn’t approve. No surprise costs at handover.
48 to 72 hours from call to standing.
Reuben scopes in person within 24 hours of your enquiry. Certified engineering drawings back inside 48. Scaffold up 48 to 72 hours after that. Mid-job re-configures actioned the same week, not next month. When your programme shifts, ours shifts with it, so a scaffold call never becomes a scaffold delay.
Every credential head contractors screen for, delivered on the jobs that prove it.

How Adelaide scaffolding pricing works.
Every job is priced after a site inspection. No online calculators, no hidden extras. Here’s how we get to a fixed number.
How we quote
Site visit within 48 hours of your enquiry. We measure the actual scope, walk the access, and issue a fixed written quote, not an estimate. What we quote is what you pay.
Fixed price. No surprises. What drives the price
Height and load rating. Duration on site. Access complexity (heritage, over-water, restricted street frontage). Whether engineered drawings are needed. Number of moves during the project.
Priced per project, not per hour.Every project sized on its merits
Most Epic jobs run over two weeks because setup and dismantle costs make ultra-short hires uneconomic for both sides. That said, if you have a smaller-window job and the timing suits our crew rotation, we can sometimes flex. Best to ask us and we’ll tell you honestly.
Case by case. Just ask. From enquiry to install in four steps.
Every Adelaide job runs on the same protocol, so you know exactly what happens after you hit send.
Enquiry received
You submit the form or call. Epic operations logs your job the same business day and books a site visit.

When do I need structural propping vs standard scaffolding?
Propping is required when a building element (slab, beam, facade, retaining wall) needs to be supported during construction, alteration or demolition. Scaffolding supports workers; propping supports the structure itself. Epic designs and installs both.
Does Epic supply engineered propping drawings?
Yes. Every propping install includes certified engineering drawings, produced through our engineering partners, typically within 48 hours of scope confirmation. Load paths, safety factors and connection details are documented and signed off for the head contractor.
What heights are Epic’s temporary handrails?
Handrails are typically installed at 1 metre high. We can also achieve 1.5 metres and 2 metres depending on the application, the fall risk being managed, and the head contractor’s edge protection requirements.
Does Epic supply screens for edge protection or containment?
Yes. We typically use Unimesh screens on commercial sites, suited to edge protection, dust and debris containment, and public exclusion. Screens are supplied and installed as part of the propping or handrail package.
What is the difference between propping and shoring?
The terms are often used interchangeably. Strictly, propping refers to vertical support of a slab or beam, while shoring is the wider practice of temporarily supporting any structure (including retaining walls or excavations). Epic delivers both under one engineered package.
What are the SA regulations for temporary handrails?
South Australian workplace health and safety regulations require edge protection wherever a fall of 2 metres or more is possible in construction (updated from the previous 3 metre threshold in July 2026). Epic’s handrail systems are engineered to comply with the current threshold and are inspected on install.
How does temporary handrail install differ from permanent?
Temporary handrails must meet SafeWork SA edge protection standards for the duration of works but are designed to be installed and removed without leaving permanent fixings. Epic’s handrail systems are galvanised, reusable and installed by Tier 1 scaffolders.
